800 big block with indys 5 year crank in 06 iq rmk, porting twin slps. about 1200 miles so far, had to come on and give a thumbs up to dan for an awesome running motor , everytime i hammer the throttle i just smile , this is hands down the best running motor i have ever had, smooth as silk with throttle respones second to none. thanks dan for a great package.

I agree. I have a 800 bb in an 07 chasis with the torque master bottom end and I have been very impressed with it. Dan is also a great guy to work with and always willing to help. Got rid of the D8 last year due to motor issues and love every minute on the new/old sled I am running now. I am running the single from slp though... seems to work very well. I have twins also but I fought alot of heat soak. Are your cylinders ported?

ported cylinders, slp pipes supplied by carls cycle, bored carbs, union bay head, ride from 2500 to 5000 ft. 450 mains on 50/50 av and premium. leave parking lot ride all day sled just plain runs good everywere, muliply runs on hills or long runs of boondocking no heat issues at all. also have head light intake and dash opened up for tons of air.

Sweet! 450 mains...must be pumping some ponies. I was only 370 with the twins at 8000 -10000 ft with SLP heads 533 and bored carbs also. Did Carls do your porting? What heads are you running? I have thought about having them do some stuff.
