Mixed 75 / 65 mph driving, I averaged 7.8 mpg with it .... in other words, exactly what I expected. If I downsize my tires back to the 265's or even 245's t hat number would go up. I think I'll take the happy medium and put the 265's back on it. Also, I was towing this @ 75 mph on the flats and slight inclines 5th gear today .... big blocks pull pretty good

S soft hat Free Member Nov 10, 2011 #23 GMC/Chev needs to bring back that motor. Two things they need actually: 1) bring back the 8.1 gasser and put it in subs and yukon xl's... 2) put the duramax in subs and xl's... chits easy....what other problems you got to solve today?
