Has anyone figured out how to charge the 7s battery? Wont be riding for a week or 2 yet and wanna get the display figured out with out letting the sled idle for long periods or time

I tried with same results.I tried charging it with a battery tender/charger. No luck wouldn't take charge.
Really…… that is really bad on Poo’s end. Is that the same with electric start?I tried with same results.
The male portion of the plug is smaller than standard SAE.
I’m guessing polaris sells something?
Maybe a “power up cable”
I’ve only seen a manual start sled.Really…… that is really bad on Poo’s end. Is that the same with electric start?
You are right there. I’m just assuming that it’s either for charging the electric start battery, or the 7S gauge battery; being next to the footwell. In the past, it was for charging an acid battery, not to get power. I’m just trying to figure out if Polaris would install lithium vs. acid batteries? Maybe different connections for various batteries. That’s all I’m saying…… maybe make it known to consumer’s. I’m not doubting your input, just trying to verify what is what. Different for various sleds? Polaris might have a valid reason. I haven’t seen a non electric vs. electric start to know for sure. But I can not see Polaris installing lithium.I’ve only seen a manual start sled.
Why is that bad?
Random people hooking up random power inputs is probably worse.

I respect your input, always have.
Ahhh, that may explain it then. Lithium requires a different charge than acid. ThanksNon electric start is lithium.
Anyone figure out a way to charge the 7S battery on a manual start sled? I tried a Noco Genius 1 and it was a no go.
When you are defining the 7s battery… I assume you mean the battery in the footwell correct? The sled will charge that battery while running so you should not have to put a tender on it.Anyone figure out a way to charge the 7S battery on a manual start sled?
