707 hp

The Challenger just has not ever been able to handle anywhere near the new mustang or camaro- in either a straight or bent line called a corner. Too big and fat.

Perhaps, but all 3 went for the retro look and the challenger hit it out of the park while the others barely got base hits.
When you meet a challenger you have to look twice to see if it's a new one or a damned nice old one. That makes them so cool.

FWIW, I am not a Chrysler lover by any means.

800 hp.turn volume down.LOL

My dad's cousin had an 07 Super Snake.
The only time I got to ride in it was when he picked it up at the dealer in Boise when it was "stock".

If you ever saw a black one at a show or parade in the Boise area, chances are you saw it. 835hp. It was so insane!!!

Starting price is $60,990. I'd imagine once you option anything real you are going to be $70k-$75k MSRP.

Plus a $15,000 bump sticker and you are on your way to $90k

Loaded Corvette (non Z06/07) or Hellcat?

Corvette or this? Having been in challengers before and thus expecting this to do nothing but straight lines well, I'd take the C7 corvette. You can get high 20s mpg out of the 'vette with the real possibility of it being an enjoyable daily driver that is cheaper off the lot and at the pump.:face-icon-small-sho

just talked to the local dealer and they will sell me a Hellcat for MSRP with no additional bump~now we just need to see how high the add-ons make the out the door price.

Make sure you get that in a written legal form before believing it. I've heard that before from many friends at dealerships. They heard the same thing for the Viper, Prowler, Ford GT and Shelby GT500 when they were new. Only to tack on at least 20-50k on delivery...:mad2:

For certain~good advise.

Latest information~first production run will only be 360 units. What's the chances I can get my hands on one of those. Looks like next spring before I will be going really fast.
