700 non-ves in IQ chassis, exhaust???

Hi, I'm thinking about puting a non ves 700 in an IQ body, my only concern is the exhaust. Anyone did this? Execpt for the shape of the pipe, is there a difference between the 700 ves and the non ves pipe? thanks in advance!!

No offense intended but the shape IS the difference and there is quite a bit of difference between the two.

OK, scuse me, i didn't ask the right question! What i wanted to know is if i could use a ves pipe on a non ves motor without any losses of performance or any damage to the engine?

non

slp makes a pipe for the 800 big block conversion and psi 1200 on here has motor mount plates to mount motor.and i would bet psi 1200 could come up with a pipe combo.contact brad at power addiction he has done many diferent conversions.435 8816665

on the older 800 non ves motors, you could do a polaris powervalve update on them, they used the edge ves pipes, buddy blew his up , and put the non ves topend back on but left the edge pipe, seemed to run better then it did before he did the ves topend, so the ves pipe seemed to help...on the 700...i would guess it would be fine as well..but I would watch both your piston domes and plugs for color and burn...

700 ves pipe will work fine on a non ves engine. but if your taking about the newer 700 that came in the IQ I beleive it shares the same stroke but does run a little more rpm then the older 700. It will work.
