What is everyone running for clutch springs? What is everyone running for gears?

I'm running stock gears. 64g weights for 1500 ft and 58s for blue river bc area. Springs are stock, they need replacing for the 5000 miles thery have on. How many and where should I put delirin washers in the secondary, I've heard different.

Gears 18/43 and they are a bit high. Thinking of. Going 18/39 or 19/43s whatever fits with stock chain. Maybe ill go back stock.

And I by passed the ves celinoid or however you spell it. Should I un by pass it? Should I put 800 ves spring in?

I did a couple searches but maybe a newer updated topic would help some guys out.

Do you want a setup for 1500ft or mountains, they will be different. 68 grams weight seems heavy for a 700 @ 1500ft. Buy the MTX clutch weights, they use tuning rivets which allows you to add up to 6 grams of weight. I have the 65 gram set and they work good @1500ft with 4 grams added and if I ride at 4-7ft I only run 1 gram. I also run the slp pipe and can with 19/42 gears.

Gear down the sled, best mod for the 700. 19/42 is the combo of choice and you can run stock chain. Use the slp recommended primary/secondary springs with 1 delrin washer for the elevation you ride. I would change springs after 1000 miles or every season. Don't worry about exhaust valve springs or block off solenoids. Do your clutch/gears mods and add the clutch venting if you don't have it .
