well today i finaly got the 700 out of snow with a fresh rebuild got to open it up a lil bit climbing some hill i hit 44mph track speed at only 8300 rpms about 200short.

only problems i was haveing if i held the rpms around 6900 once i hit 7,000 it acts like it just picked up another cylinder its act just like when you foul a plug and you hold it wide open and it picks up that cylinder this does exact same thing. runs fine on wot. i was thinking it was the oil i put in the gas

yea at that rpm the valves would almost be completly open, 44mph track speed? holy hell thats alot of track to pull. i think mines geared for 114mph track speed LOL but i got a little shorty haha :D

has nothing to do with a peaky powerband never had this problem last year i put a new egt in got rid of the werid problem but now i got another problem it runs super rich on mag side barely idles i have to play with the throttle to get it to come out of it. only does this on the bottom end but once i get that cylinder to liven up it rips really good. check engine flashed 3 times????

cuda

Hey dart what are you looking to get out of the cuda...my cousin may be interested he has a 70 AAR 340 6packer he bought new and put it on the track as a stock dragger...

well i figured out what the three flashes are the air temp sensor in the air box going to change it out 2marow hopefully it will cure it

i got a 57mph yesterday but i think i caught a little air and i got a 48mph ran alot better yesterday than the first day i got it running either way still good for a non tourqey 7hundo. the other sleds i was with had 174s the stuff they were going up 10mph i was going up 25mph "gustimate" skis in the air. both sleds were close to me last year well its a different story now sure does make rideing a whole lot more fun when the sled runs good:D other than my low end bog/super rich

A friend was pulling 67 mph track speeds with his 800 SLP dragon today but he was on a 50 pound shot of No2. HE can't keep the sled from fliping over backwards. Do you have any problems with the 174? How much track speed did it pull stock (I.E. how much did you loose with the long track?)

thanks, and id keep those SLP pipes. They work good on the sleds i have seen runing them, but thats just IMO. :beer;

i have no idea what it did stock or last year, i really didnt pay much attention to it. now that i have a good grasp on clutching i pay more attention to track speed. i dont have any problems with the 174 for my style of rideing it works really good not much of a hillclimber i just need it for the trees really forgiveing. mine wheelies way to much also ive did alot to help it but when iam going slow and nail the gas ski lift is to high its like rideing with no limiter straps "all over the place out of controll feel"

I think that the polaris skid allows that type of problem and as far as i know there is no fix. I guess we will see how the Ez-ryde does in my sled if i ever get it financed :)

My friend said he only has probubly 18" of the track touching the ground (custom limiter strap) and it still wants to take off an auto pilot. :confused:

iam going to try a home made skid coupler out this weekend if i can hurry up and get my low end issues sorted out is your buddy running a 174
