I agree but we REALLY are far away from being Socialist. I know many on here will disagree and probably you, but when you compare use to the truely socialist countries we are not close.
To be exact, you are correct.
We are more on track towards a marxist state.
Just most people don't know what a marxist state is, they do know what socialism is, so I use the term socialism.
