670x won't start

Any sugestions? It was running about a month ago just in his garage, and now we can't get it started. We changed the plugs, and even with starter fluid there was nothing.

Is there fuel? Is there spark? Is the kill switch off? Is the tether plugged in? Is the key on? <----- You'll probably laugh but I did this once, pulled on it for llike 15 mins before I finally bothered to check it - yep it was turned off. clicked it over and she fired first pull. Need more info.

Sorry, yea I tried those things. I'll double check them tonight, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't it. Thanks though!

I think it has something to do with stars being in allignment... I had a 99 670... pain in the azz to start - upgraded to an 05 Summit... problem solved :P

Sorry, but I disagree. I have had just about everything from a 78 Everest all the way to my current mod. My 95 Summit started everytime (except when I turned the key off), it never took more than 3 pulls, even after the summer. The 98 670 I have was apart for two years, put it back together and it fired on the 3rd pull.

Did you check the plug wires? I had a set go bad on me with that same type of sled. Also you could check the safety tether where it connects to the sled. Sometimes the little cap gets a groove worn in the top and doesn't compress the little button down far enough to create a connection. I had to fabricate a little "spacer" to fit inside the cap. The magneto that the plug wires attach to may have gone bad too. That is all that I could think of. Hope it can help.

That's what it was, the plug wires were loose, bought another boot, and it fired right up. Thanks guys!
