My sledding season starts the moment there is 4"-6" of snow on the higher trails...

I get all giddy like a little kid at Christmas and can't help but take the sleds out and warm them up on a road ride, smell that exhaust and crack open a couple brewskis!!

Be aware the forest service will ticket you. They are charged with maintaining the separate seasons.

That said, I have previously been up for a quick night ride in October.

Hmmm, I did not know that one.. Good thing I never start working on my sled til T-day!
