600 RMK 144...any seat time reviews

Yet a few more miles on mine now.

It runs as strong, or stronger than before, but I've experienced some hesitation from the engine, 5 occurences so far. To me it seems that I'm hitting the rev limiter, the engine builds rpm quicker than the clutch can shift. Seen 8400 rpm at most, on those occasions without any hesitation.

Does anyone know at what rpm the rev limiter kicks in?

I have the same sleds. 2012 800 assualt 144 and a 2010 600 dragon sbk 136. I geared the little six down 2 teeth and put a 1 3/4 backcountry track on it. Rode them back to back this weekend, we rode 260 miles of 60/40 and I swear the 600 feels more nimble and lighter than the 800. Torque on the 800 though is no commparison!

Have a hundred miles on a 2012 rmk 144 and put them on near Hurley Wisconsin, in the same terrain as the U.P. it worked great and rode very well on the trail. We also did some off trail in about 2 feet of snow, seeing thats all they have, but it was a blast.

I put 3500 miles on my 09 600 rmk shift 144 before I traded it for my new 800 pro. Its a great sled. You will notice the sled will be much more nimble off trail than a switchback ( my dad had a 700, now has a new 800). On trail it will have slightly more ski lift in very tight trails. It is very manageable, with a few adjustments and more body English you will love it. I can ride my 155 harder than most can a 121.

Set of scratchers and you'll be set. Get the sled. Its a true 50/50 machine. A switch is 60 trail/40. The rmk will be more playful on trail and off.

Sled is comfortable with 65 MPH any time on long straights you can squeeze 80-85 from it depending on the conditions

280 miles on my 2012 600 rmk now. I did 70 miles today in some very nice deep fields the sled carves so nice and lays over in the snow with minimal ease. I had maybe 5 miles of packed trail to ride in some spots today and i find the sled hard to enjoy on it. It is definately a powder slut. Very much enjoying this machine.
