600 Ace Do Not Run Till Further Notice

Just got word from skidoo not to run my wifes new 600 Ace till further notice. Seems the new engine is havings metal shavings in motor and clogs oil pump. Called Skidoo and they have no idea how long this will take to fix. Anyone else have any info on this problem?

Yes, there's a warranty campaign dated today (12-10-2010) that involves an inspection related to what you have described. Just get it to the dealer and they will be able to complete. The inspection shouldn't take more than an hr max. A repair (if anything is found at inspection) may take longer, about 3-4 hrs tops.
