i may have got the "values" for the switch positions mixed up, but........BUT!!


if everything else is true .... you will feel the difference :jaw:

...and might start using all 3 for different applications, i do.....racing vs tech climbing
 
Hummmh when I picked up the bike it was on #3,I guess I will ride it and see!also where did you get an outerware that fits the oval filter?, and you dont happen to know the sag measurements do you? Are they 2010ktm or 2011 KTM new frame longershock measurements?Thanks for all the info not new to ktms just the cousin!LOL:face-icon-small-ton

Great posts and answers allot of my questions also. I just purchased an 09 FE570 for the purpose of a timbersled snowbike to ride at Cooke City and Beartooths. But ended up loving the bike more than my 300 XCW which I did not feel was possible. Thanks for the info and please post any new info that is helpful such as. Do the KTM handwarmers help or needed? What about elephant ears? How much spare fuel is needed?
 
i found the factory sheet on the 'dial-setting' plug that the bergs use.

if ya need, i'll scan it..... still says 0-1-2 are the adjusts.......3 on up are not used.
 
Mine was on 3 when I got it and was dissapointed when I rode it then moved it to 2 and I now need a progressive throttle cam, border line uncontrolable in the woods ,but going to be smiles on the snow!!
 
I would put the CA fuel pump in it now before the season begins there is many discussions about it, I would hate to be in no man's land and have the chinese stock one go out on you, they crap the bed at around 80 hrs
