.... is the closest listed dealer on the 509 website.
No need to try them, 509's rock! I love my Aviators

awesome thanks i couldnt figure out the web site or somethin cause i couldnt find any dealers i was thinkin about goin with the polarized lenses im gettin sick of not being able to see in low light and goggles foggin up it takes an epic day and puts it to waste

The polarized lens is a very good all around option, but for low light they are iffy. I have had great success with the yellow tint lenses for low light / overcast.
You are going to LOVE the field of view with the Aviators, like no other goggle made!:face-icon-small-coo

The 509s I have fit over my current glasses but are a close fit. So it would depend on the size of your frames. I have not had much luck with keeping the glasses from fogging up even though the 509s don't. Finally purchased contacts just for snowmobiling. Bad thing is I am near sited also. So if I take my sled ice fishing, I can't tie a knot in the line.

I see they have a lot of different lenses. I sometimes have to travel home in whiteout conditions (blowing snow, moderate/heavy snow fall/fog) and wondering what the best lenses they have found work best with the 509's in whiteout.

Yellow tint for sure, the orange tint would be interesting to try, but they seemed a little on the dark side trying them in the shop.

Would the standard lens chrome finish/yellow tint do or will I have to order the polarized or just regular yellow tint? I am way up here in northern Canada and do not want to have to place another order. Also do not want to order too many lenses if I find yellow tint to work then do not want the extra yellows sitting there if the standard chrome/yellow is good enough. Haven't had any chrome covered lenses thats why and do not know how they affect the vision compared to plain yellow tint or what the polarized finish does (must be a big improvement for that price?)

Any chrome, or polarized lens is typically for sun and darken your view. I LOVE the polarized lens that came with my Aviators but they are too dark for poor light / fog / whiteout / riding out in the dark.

For every goggle I own (snow or dirt) I have at least 2 lenses:
A chrome / tinted one for sun
A yellow (or sometimes blue) for poor light / fog / whiteout
I also keep clear lenses for most of my goggles, but not my Aviators.

Thanks for your help. Will probably go with the Burandt goggles since it comes with plain yellow tint also but not sure if that is included with the chrome yellow, will have to call and ask, if not then will get the chrome yellow also. Also a clear no tint for night riding.
