509 goggles

I have both pairs of 509s the sinister and aviator. They both are awesome goggles. The only thing I can think of for a complaint for the aviators is if u have a larger head the curve on the goggles is greater then others. I bought my aviator from a buddy who has a larger head and he said they didn't seal very well on his face. I gave them a try and they worked great for me.

I'm sure tom's inbox just gets flooded with all sorts of random pm's..would be hard to reply to every single one. I still send him pm's at times and don't get replies. I'm not too worried aobut it though he's a good guy and builds a great product. Calling would be much better I bet.

As for the goggles, I haven't run the aviators yet..but I have run the sinisters since they first came out. I won't wear anything else.. (except aviators)HOping to try a set of aviators this season.

i really enjoy the aviators..so so comfortable..!!!!...actually i am going to order another set just to have when my kids visit and sled...they need to be spoiled once in a while

Hey 'Dizz..........do you have any knowledge or feedback as how the Aviators fit the Klim helmet??

Thx.

Q

This should answer the question from another post I made a while back...

After a season on these goggles... I really liked them... plus the lenss were easy to change out.

I have a box full of goggles, Oakley A-frame/wisdom/Crowbars, Scott 89xi, Smith, Spy, Dragon, Bolle and some others.

These are my favorite now.

Flat light days I really like the Yellow tint lens.

I hear they will have the Polarized lens and the powered-fan fog eliminator for this goggle this season.

Their sinister goggle Polarized lens was $39 last year... better price than the competition for their polarized lens.

I have the 509 Aviator Googles and have been using them for the last month in California Blue Bird Days.

Riding above the 9000 ft mark on super bright days... these goggles ROCK!!

I have the Bronze mirror lenses in there right now and these sukkas keep me happy. I have very sensitive eyes, and these don't let me down.

Some other great things about these goggles

The Strap is large enough to fit the helmet without stretching it too much AND it has a non slip silicone backing so the strap stays in place

I have very good field of vision to the sides with these

I'm a "head sweat" person and my eyes tear easily... These googles stayed fog free for me better than the 89Xi's that have. If anyone can fog a goggle its me and these did not let me down.

The replacement lenses are very affordable.
