509 Goggles - WTH??!!

To answer my own question.....

[Q] Do the 09 goggles use the same lens as the 08 model?

[A] Yes. Both the 08 & 09 goggles use the same shape lens. So you can use an 08 lens with your 09 goggles or vice versa. We did increase the thickness of the 09 lens and also changed it to a precurved spherical shaped lens. So the 09 lens is superior to the 08, however both are still cross compatible.

Another thumbs up for Tom and 509 in general ... he's always been outstanding to deal with and I've purchased a ton of gear from him. Cut him a little slack would ya ... he's prepping for the upcoming season, same as the rest of us

Definitely the plain yellow lens. Amazing for low light definition.

are you doing those sunglass's again this year? My fat azz dog sat on mine and busted them.

Didn't do shades this year. I wasn't happy with the quality, so i'm taking a year off, revamping them and coming out with a higher end polarized line (no eta yet)
