509 anti fog fan

Are youo using the breath box that goes in the chin guard that came with the helmet? I was not using mine nor was I using the nose piece that came with the goggles and was having all kinds of problems fogging. Once I finally gave in and put everything in the way it is designed to work and used it as a "complete system"...to my amazement, my fogging problems went away! Now I love my 509 helmet/goggle combo and wouldn't trade it for anything!

is this the breath box you speak of?

I had the sinisters when they came out and all they did was fog, fog, and fog. So i figured I'd try the fan. It helped but not much. I went back to Scott Goggles and couldnt be happier. Seems 85% of 509 goggle owners have fogging issues. A friend of mine bought the 509 aviators and all he does is complain about not being able to see.

509 helments

Just A little insider the 509 helments that everone is paying 175 to 200 plus are the same helments that polaris dealers sale at half the cost. I know this becuase i was one of them that got one thinking that they should be the best its A 509. Then went and picked my new sled and looking at the helments at the dealer the same one I just paid $175 for setting there for $100 but didn't have the stickers and look all prety. Just my .02 cents And as far as the fogging goes it has alot to do with the breathing box and how tight it is to your face. I fought this becuase no matter what the temp was there was days i'd ride and had no fogging and the next day would fog up hour into the ride. Then it came to me that that breath boxs has to be as thight as I could get it to my face and around my nose.

My fan didnt seem to help. I would seriously pay someone $500 for a pair of googles that was guarantied to never fog. I have tried everything and I still fog. I currently have a 509 helmet and googles.

Are you using a No-Fog mask? Just curious, because I run 509 goggles with a No-Fog mask and I don't fog. I can get stuck and dig myself out and leave my goggles on and not fog up. Prior to getting the No-Fog, I was fogging up all the time.
