50 plus degree helix in the flats??

anyone run a 50 plus degree helix in the flats??? heres my situation, at home here in sask the summit xm 's catwalk stock so easily its unreal, and after riding my buddies xm i couldnt wipe the smile off my face, and i know cat walking wont get u up the mountian but here at home its just plain fun,

i got a 2010 m8 sno pro 153, dalton adjustable weights, 48/38 pregressive helix, shift assist, geo mod and front suspension arm in the lower hole, it has a very light and fun feel and i was happy, till the xm came out and now i feel like im missing out on all the fun !! everyone says they never seen a cat stand like mine but its nowhere near as fun as an xm

will a 54/42 or so helix be to much here in the flats in a few feet of snow?? im thinking that might be my ticket for a faster launch but am worried it will load up to much, not sure what to think cause i bleed green but its looking like an xm for next year :face-icon-small-sho

Can't comment on the 50+, but I ran a 46/40 on my M7 at 1500 feet. Always felt I needed more track to take advantage of the upshift. Had the 153 Challenger. So, you might look at finding more traction first.

Get yourself a turbo. :face-icon-small-ton I think you will find better success in suspension setup than you will with a steeper helix. I suppose that if you have the power to spare then you could theoretically spin the track fast enough on launch to get the skis up in the air, but I have my doubts.

Let us know how it works if you give it a shot.

If a better launch is what you are looking for get a set of MDS weights. Money back guarantee. Give Steve or racinstaion a call.

Get a skidoo skid and it will wheelie just the same. I know that would be to much work but I think the float shock is a big part of the problem along with a longer front shock .
I'm in sask also and I want to try a shock out of a std ( spring and fox zero ) in the rear skid
