I posted this on here last fall, any one else interested should contact me immediately as the raffle is coming soon.

Our local FNRA club is raffling off a Barrett .50 BMG M82A1M107 to benefit the NRA.
I just sold one to a local and they retail for $11400 with Barretts own BORS (Barrett Optical Ranging System) included.
Check this gun out at http://www.barrettrifles.com/rifle_82.aspx
We are only printing 500 tickets and have about 80 left. They are $40 each. Need not be present to win. Drawing date is August 2nd. Cannot be shipped to California, you must be able to pass a background check and comply with your state and local laws. If you are the winner, we will ship this gun to a FFL dealer of your choice and you will do the paperwork with them.

Thanks to those of you who have already purchased tickets!

check your local regs

the M82 is an incredible weapon. i got a chance to fire an AR-50 once. WOW......... the shockwave from the blast is just undescribable........

one thing though, just wanted to add that you should check hunting regs before you go hunting with a .50 cal.... my state has rules on electric devices mounted to the gun, weight of gun, and a few other things....

make sure to look for your state.

Is it possible to eat anything that is obliterated by the gun? From the video, looks like you would only get stew meat. Awesome gun though... shooting things from really far away is cool. Wasn't this weapon on "Future Weapons" on the Discovery Channel?

Military round. Mercury aluminum ballistic projectile. Explodes on impact

if you would have shot them with a partition or a Wildcats bullet it would have just threw them off the rocks but they would stay in 1 piece. That round was developed for armor and making sure the target is down no matter where you hit it

Imagine a fast accurate grenade. Thats pretty much what it is. shoot him in the foot? he's down....
