4 drivers on drive shaft?

Changing the track for a buddy on his 98 xcr 700. took the suspension out, took the lower gear off, took the speedo housing off, tried sliding the driveshaft to the clutch side to remove it and NOTHING. it wont go far enough over......is there some kind of trick? i was pissed right off then realized it has two outer drivers that my sleds dont have.


What do i need to do? i tried removing the bearing on the chain case side but i dont have a fancy c clip remover that will fit in that tight spot.

you will need to undo the chain case and slide it over to make enough room.
