3c Guiding - Review

A buddy and I were looking to go to WY riding for the first time this year. We met up with Cameron from 3c Guiding at Hay Days and decided to book with him.

Just heading home now from 5 days of riding.

Every day Cameron found us the exact terrain, snow we were looking for. Each of the last 5 days he brought us into areas of untracked snow that was deep and not windblown.

Not only did we have a great time riding, my buddy and I also learned a lot from him and had a great time getting to know him.

based upon our 5 days out there, if you're looking for a guide, I highly recommend 3c and Cameron and his team.

If anyone wants to ask me any specific questions, feel free to PM me.

Already trying to find a time when we can head back out!

Pics are from one of the many untouched fields we found on day 5 of riding!

I will second that, Brandon and Cameron where both at CCGR last week for a video shoot. Good dudes definitely taught me a few things.

I third that! We were riding with Brandon the past few days out of Lava (We ran into you a few times, we had a Pro RMK, Pro Assault, Super Charged Nytro, and a Black Summit)

These guys are great to ride with, try to teach you improve your riding, and are just fun to be with.

We have ridden with them is the Snowies a few times in years past and we have always been treated great (as long as we bring them some cheese curds, ha).

Anybody who wants to find some damn good riding needs to hook up with these fellas.

Cant wait to ride with them again.

3c Rocks

Thought I'd chime in as well... I'm the goofy guy with the bright orange helmet in the first post :face-icon-small-ton. Last year was my first year EVER being on a snowmobile.

Thanks to Snowest I stumbled across 3cGuiding while reading countless posts about Mountain riding, places to stay, etc. Found out that 3c was going to be at Haydays here in MN so Joe and I headed over to talk to Cameron. Needless to say we booked his services the next day for 5 days of riding.

When we arrived at Lava Mountain, an awesome place to stay and highly recommend it!!!!, it was snowing. When finished 9+" of new snow. I can honestly say that first day I moved/dug more snow than Cowboy Jim did plowing the parking lot :face-icon-small-hap Cameron was always the first on the scene to help dig out and give pointers/technique on what I was doing or not doing.

Everyday he brought us to untouched fields/snow and he was always pushing us just a little bit further on technique and situations. There were a number of times when Cameron would take off and I'd look at Joe while saying wt-f, he wants me to do what! I quickly came to the realization that Cameron never put me into a situation that he didn't feel my skill level would allow us to get out of. By the end of the week my "stucks" were just tip overs or things that could be rode out of rather than having to dig and I learned a new appreciation for what I was capabable of!

I still need a lot of practice, but damn, watching videos from our early Jan. 2012 trip to the UP and watching videos from late Jan. 2012 trip to Tog. is night and day different!

I can't say enough about 3c and Cameron, that crew is flat out awesome to ride with! We will be back!

For sure thanks again to them boys for a good 3 days of riding at Lava and Cowboy for the help putting things back together when they came apart.
