38" stance

Got the 38" stance on my sled now, waiting for the shocks to get done! What can I say other than I am excited. I think this will make a big difference. Hoping to have the vertical steering by the end of the week. Then I need to go snowmobiling.

This sled has to be the easiest sled I have ever owned to change out the a-arms!

Hmmm ordered my vert kit today was told it will come off backorder the 20th should see it by the end of that week. How long did it take you to change your a-arms?

Rode my 153 M8 with the 38" stance this weekend. Liked it a lot. Definitely a change for the better. Noticeably easier to sidehill and lay the sled over.

A arms are a breeze to change compared to the old M. Especially with the tool to pop the ball joints out.

The dealer was hoping that the vertical kit would be in by the end of the week.

As for the a-arms It took about 2.5 hours total. The hardest part was getting the bottom ball joint out of the spindle. The race book says that pounding with a dead blow will get it out. I just used the torch on the spindle. Don't get crazy or you will wreck the powder coat. But aluminum takes heat so well and expands so much that the ball joint came out with very little pounding. Also a pickle fork may work.

Anyone know the closest and fastest turn around for the shock mod in Washington?
