Anybody else have to cut down their tie rod tubes? The ones that came with the cat kit aren't short enough and my one ski is toed out? Sound weird? About to cut em unless I'm missing something

Are they the same length as the 40" ones? Maybe you get the wrong ones in your kit by accident from cat?

Mine fit perfect, with room to adjust.

I remember on one side it was plenty long, but yeah, on the clutch side it was almost too long. I didn't have to cut it though.

That is exactly my experience on the clutch side bottoms out before I can get it to where I need it. Muffler side is good

Is it deep enough on the inside to allow you to cut off & still have room to thread in? Like we were talking about yesterday on the M rods not needing tapped, would that be the case here? I'd hate to cut something & then find it didn't help the problem.

Not sure it would help, but perhaps you turn the steering and then readjust things. I've heard you can adjust handle bar centering, and if that is the case you can suck in on the side that has room to give yourself enough on the clutch side, then adjust the 3rd adjustment point so that the handlebars are centered.

I'm not sure how u would adjust the centering of the bar since it is fixed at the base and there is a knuckle on the vert post at the top with a fixed tee for the riser

BCIL I am going to find a longer bolt and find out how much thread I'm dealing with

I will check if the small rod at the base of the post has some play in it izzni thanks

My new tie rods were both shorter, check when you assemble the small idler inside under the Intercooler, actually removing the Intercooler helps. Mine with the shorter arms required I adjust the little arm from the steering post inside to center the steering.
