36 front end, new shocks, or both?

I have a 2013 155. Considering some upgrades this year. Read several posts about 36 inch front end, new shocks, etc. There is only one riding situation i struggle with and that is traversing down a steep side hill on the right (exhuast) side. Maybe I need to invest in a rider clinic and ramp up skills but for those that have done narrower front ends and or shocks would appreciate some advice on how much help it provides with this scenario.

I found that the narrower front end does help for sure, but nothing replaces a good lesson from one of the Pros. I run the Zbros 36" with Fox Floats, very predictable and forgiving front end.

I ran the 36 front end last year along with the raptor springs no sway bar. After bringing it out wide a couple times I will only ride narrow.

I chatted with Dan at Alt and I ordered the kit. Decided to go with revalve and upgrade to the stockers and see how I like. Pray for snow. Thinking an early October ride would be ideal.

Some one should make a kit for these sleds (or DIY) to open up the footwells. This really helps for that maneuver on both sides.
I originally tried wrong foot on the upper loop (traction screws installed). Bit contorted lol, but showed me the need.

It's amazing what Poo built for us, eh! Makes you want to try something new to you every year.
