300 Remington Ultra Mag brass - Everyone please read

Ok, so this stuff is pretty tough to find. I am working up new loads for my new Remington 300 Ultra Mag and having a devil of a time finding brass. I'm looking for new Remington unprimed brass. But I'll take once fired if need be.

I would REALLY appreciate if you all could help me find this.

If you guys have any, maybe you shoot a 300RUM and don't reload, or if you would give your local reloading shops a call and see if they have any I would appreciate it. I'll pay for the brass and shipping, just trying to locate it.

If you are in Minneapolis, Minn; Anchorage, AK; Dillon, Mt; Northern Utah or Idaho Falls, Id I've already talked to all the shops in those areas.

i have one of those. wish i would of saved the brass but 5 yrs ago i didn't think would pay since i only shoot it while hunting and i even have the reloading tools. how things have changed, good thing i still have 2 boxes left over from when i bought the rifle 6-7 yrs ago.

try cabelas....they show having it..I buy mine a 1000 at a time..but has been a few years since I neeeded to get more,...

Let me know if you still need some. I travel constantly and stop into a lot of shops. I also am 99% sure that the Cabela's 5 miles from my house has it in stock. They move more reloading stuff than all the other Cabela's stores combined. Pretty good prices too for a Cabela's.

If you have a Cabela's close to you that has it then let me know. Monday cabelas.com showed it in stock. I called today and they show none in the sytem anywhere, not even at other stores. I've tried all the big online places, all the not so big online places, all the gun sites, gunbroker.com, etc. I tried Black Hills as well and a couple of others that were recommended.

So yes, I still need it and would love it if anyone can find me some.

Supplicate, only 2 companies make 300RUM brass, Remington and Nosler. The Nosler stuff is very brittle, only good for 3 reloads or so. Remington is softer and good for 6-7.

Thanks catssuk, the amazon listing is for Winchester Short Mag brass... I contacted the seller and he doesn't have anything for the Remington. I also tried Midwestern and they don't have any.

They have it, I called over there today looking for Cheytac Brass, Jamison is out ***ger.

As of yesterday they didn't have any.

But that's ok, I got hooked up. Found 1000 cases of new in Idaho at a little shop.

I shoot a 300 ultra...LOVE IT!! makes a mess out of a gopher Have also made some gruesome head shots on white tail and mule deer bucks with it.

what grain bullet are you loading. I have 180 gr swift sirracos 200 gr noslers. don't there make 165gr or what is ths smallest gr and what are you finding shoots the best

for bear and moose I shoot a 200 grain barnes X, for fur such as wolf and fox I shoot 125 and 165 grain barnes solids...best accuracy out of my gun with the loads I have worked is with the 165 grain solids...on a braked factory barrel..the factory 180 gr.sciroccos shoot very well..
