300 and rider weight

Will a built 300 work for a 230lb rider.

I am looking at running a Yeti 129 to keep the overall weight of the bike as light as possible.

I'm wanting to get a new bike for summer and winter riding and would love to stay with the 300 for the type of summer riding I do, but most guys I see run them as snowbikes do not look like they are in the Clydesdale class.

It will be fine, I'm over 300lbs and ride one. Power is right there with the 4 strokes if you tune right, just takes more shifting to keep it on the pipe.

Swapping back and forth, will require more thought/work, as the carb heat presents issue not there with the 4 strokes.

Good thing is that someday, we'll have EFI 2 stroke bikes.

Another issue could be dealing with the AER forks, depending on which bike you get.
