3" x 162 gearing?

Hey friends doing a couple builds, both 2012 800 stock motors.one has a 162x3" 7t drivers drop and role. Other 174x2.5" 8t drivers. What gearing are people using with this combo? Thanx

You dropped and rolled, AND used 7T drivers?

Well I have a D&R pro with 8T drivers and a 3" track on it and ran 19/46 gearing. One belt all season. Not sure why you would go through all the effort to D&R a sled and then use 7T drivers unless you are really concerned about the track to tunnel clearance. I think the ice will build up in the tunnel, no matter how much clearance you have. JMO

I would think you could run 20/45 or 46 no problem with the 7T drivers though.

Running the following on a 12 pro:

13.1/1 head
Hps can
174x2.5
8 tooth drivers
19/43 gears
61 gram weights
8150 rpm at 6000'

FYI, I run 64G weights at 6000 ft, slp blue/pink spring, stock secondary. 8100 rpm.

On my 2012 with 3" i'm running the Avid case with 20/45 (2:25) gearing, 8t drivers, MDS weights with Polaris Blk/Grn, stock secondary. Pulls 8150/8200, very happy!!
