3" snow flap cracked / broke

Just noticed today my 3" track snow flap is almost ready to fall off, Its just about cracked all the way across right up where it mounts to the tunnel. Anyone else have this issue? Been tearing up lots of deep powder lately and it really gets bent back. Eric

Nope mines been working great. I actually have a regular snow flap here that i was going to put on but the 3" flap seems to stay out of the way and hold up to some pretty good abuse. Better then i expected anyway. I kinda like how it sticks straight back when i'm up on the hill too lol

Put one on my pro and it worked good till I folded it up one deep day. Noticed it was cracked below the rivits. Was wondering what it would do since it was fairly stiff. Now I know! The original is back on.:face-icon-small-con

Ya since mine was sticking straight out most of the time, I decided to stick the regular ported snowflap on.

Yeah mine cratered today. Gonna have to get the standard flap I guess. Too bad because it does cool well and people complain how much this track throws on the trail as it is.
I have the 2.6 track but the sled came with the 3" track flap.
I left it on because I figured the cooling would be better, which it is.
Coming down the hill tonight, with scratchers, the sled ran 52C (125f), until the flap folded under and the temp went up to 65C (150f), pull it back out and every time it drops down right away again.

Mine is pulling at the rivets knew this was going to be a problem from the start. I order and installed the 2.6 flap.

I had probs with my first PDP flap on my Pro. Had to cut a small piece off the rear tunnel enclosure. Then when it got cold, the flap would curl towards the track and sucked it in on bad whooped trail, ripping it off. Next one I ordered I asked them to not put as much of a bend at the top. It's been good since. If I had a different bumper, I'd rivet on a limit strap, buy haven't needed to with the 2nd one.

Mine was a problem the first time i backed down the ramp off the truck - first ride! The track ran up on it and was like putting the brakes on. I stopped and pulled it out from under the track and backed on down the ramp. Second ride it did the same thing. Bought the one that came on the 2.6 and installed it. Never been a problem since. No issues whatsoever with cooling on the trail. Scratchers down and move along at 20 to 30 MPH and temps always at 125 to 129 degree(F).

Anyone getting these cracked flaps covered under warranty? I love the way they cool, I can ride our single track trail with out even using my scratchers and run 125*. Eric

If my 3" flap doesn't hold up I think I will be going to the non-ported rmk flap, maybe even mount a small spring hinged piece at the bottom with a curve?
