3" Power Claw vs. 3" Camoplast X3

I would think the PC and the X3 have very similar properties except because of the design of the PC, it may have the advantage in hard pack and spring conditions. I'm just hypothesizing.

Try the PC 3. The X3 has been around, people have tried it. I just don't see how you could be disappointed with either one. Your sled is a perfect candidate!

I bet they are pretty much going to go down like this, Attack 20 lovers are going to love Claw, everyone else X3... I happened to love the Attack 20. Can't wait to see a couple on the hill and see how they do. I can't afford either one though:face-icon-small-sad

Canada msrp for powerclaw 3 is 1899, my dealership took delivery of theirs a couple days ago and exchanged my pc 2.6 for a 3 as soon as they got off the truck. Exchange was $700 and to exchange to x3 woulda been $400. Don't see many bad reviews on the powerclaw I'm hoping to get some ride time on it before the end of the month, I'm thinking the extra 300 will be worth it. Also worth mentioning that the PC 3 is half pound lighter than PC 2.6

The x3 is the way to go. Hands down. I love that track. I wouldn't even think twice.

would love to here your many mile on the 3" Pc...:face-icon-small-sho

i'll stick up for boonocker155, I've had 3 sleds with the powerclaw track and I believe it is a flawed design. up hill they were fine down hill I couldn't get used to the toboggan effect going down hill. I did ride boonocker155s 155 with the 3" track and it really worked good. much better than any pc that I've ridden. again I have no time on a 3" pc. and no time on a new cat. so feel free to flame me for my opinion too.

Other than height, the only difference I see is that the 3" does not have the mini paddle that looks like two fingers.

The stiffness of the paddle has more effect and will determine if its deadly downhill especially in set sno, the Attack 20 was a great climber however down right spooooky downhill. Sled wood actually speed up when hitting the brake .Lol
