does anyone make one, or has any one fabbed up one at home. it would obviously have to go on a fullsize bed pickup, possibly a long tail with a support running to the receiver hitch? any pics? thinking of going to the steel yard and makin one up......
thanks

Check your state and local laws before you spend the money. Even if you had a long box 8 feet, the average mountain sled with even as little as 154" track is well over 8 feet long and then you would have to have room to put a third. Even if you put the third one sideways if it were a shorter track 121, 136 or 144 you would be pushing the law on width, so I think maybe a 3 place trailer is your better bet.

ya thats a good point, i was thinking that maybe you could back the other one on. then you could slide it all the way up to the ski's of the other sleds.....just brainstorming...you know...waiting for snow....

I think you could make a rack that went in the bed with two sleds and make something to go over the cab for one or two more sleds maybe? That would be awesome.

I don't have the picture but I've seen it a few times on snowest. Someone has one that has the deck on the back of a long bed and then another deck over the cab... then you could carry 4. I would think you'd want a 1 ton long bed crew cab. The picture that was floating around here for awhile looked pretty stout.

extreme one

i saw that vehicle in cooke one time. Very cool. 2 sleds above the cab and 2
above the bed. If i remeber the 2 sleds above the cab where yamaha enticers or something like that. ie the kids sleds.

ya, i think that would be sweet too! to have it over the cab that is.....have to make sure to avoid any low bridges. ha....

There's always this

A few years ago up at Bear Paw their was a ford crew cab with a 4 place sled deck carrying 4 sleds . If my memory is correct it was Wimpy on the forum here.

I seen one in Clearwater B.C. last spring. It was a extended cab dodge with a flat bed. Loaded one with the skis on a rack on the headache rack with a post holding up the back end up then loaded the other two normally. Looked pretty top heavey but for short drives why not. Don't need a trailer and look at all that traction. If the DOT's wanted though I think you'd be overloaded in their books.

basically do what an overhead camper does, but just a deck. i was thinking for sleds maybe make one that goes over to the front corners and hooks to the front bumper/ frame cuz the sleds are long enough.

That is it Throttle Junkie--I say one in Revy like that with a thrid sled in the middle of the 2 on the bed with a bracket from the trailer hitch under the track on the 3rd sled--then he had a 4 place trailer on behind him as well---It was a heck of a load!!
