3% leakdown

Yup after 7,000k of boosted mileage my apex engine has 3% leakdown.
Up to 17lbs on 50/50 C12 and pump premium mix.
3 different kits on it to date.
That is as good as new or better.
Headshim only, no rods, no internal parts.
I'm happy.

Have you checked your valves lately? Many of the motors that come through our shop are getting pretty tight on the clearance with your mileage, especially the boosted ones.

That's great! I bought a used TVector from Alpine a few months ago with similar leakdown @ 4,500 kms. I was told that was excellent and not to worry. Glad you all agree!

Thanks for the heads-up on the valves. I will get them checked this summer.
