3 incisions and 9 staples later im good as new

woke up monday monring with a gut ache and thought nothing of it. went to school and it got exponentially worse.

after first period at 9AM i went to my sister's house and laid on the couch till 3.

went to the community health center and they told me to go to the E.R. immediately, so i show up over there and wait for my mom to show up and the surgeon says, well surgery's going to be in about half an hour, and that i have appendicitis and i wont live to see sunset the next day if i dont have it.


so they shuffle me into there as quick as possible and i wake up in the ICU and get wheeled into a room where i stayed for the last 2 days

3 incisions and 9 staples later they say im good as new i just have to take it easy till monday

I had the same thing happen to me, was rushed into surgery went home a day latter. Was home for a few days wasnt feeling right. Went back to the doc and turns out i had large pockets of blood forming under my incisions. Only took about a week or so for the blood to disapate. Then i was good to go havent had any other problems.

Yup. Had appendicitis when I was 16. 3 frickin days with the most horrific ache I've ever had. Mom finally took me to the vet. Spent a week in there.......Demerol was awesome though!!!! A year later a schoolmate got it, spent a month in the hospital & when he finally could go back to school he had to sit on a pillow all day through classes. Don't know why.

i alergic to morphine so they gave me phentenol its suposedly stronger, it allowed me to atleast sleep it was nice

At least you were near civilization when yours burst. When my dad's burst he was driving (by himself) half way between east and west glacier MT. I couldn't imagine having to drive myself 40+miles with a burst appendix was anything I want to experience.

mine burst in surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! out of the hospital in 3 days! not sure if it was because i was good enough to go home, or they just couldn't stand me anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are they chrome, if so, keep em! Good to go on Monday? Appendix, a do nothing part. Good to hear your doing well.

Same thing with me tried to just bear through the pain boy what a mistake that was was 14 at the time and was just glad I was not far out of town because once I got the to ER room things whent south in a hurry.
