3 flashes then 2 on engine light

My friend has a 2010 dragon 800 and his engine light came on with 3 flashes and then 2 flashes. Any ideas ?

Those indicate 2 separate errors....

Check the connections for your air intake temp sensor and your engine coolant temp sensor... You most likely will have a bad wiring connection or a bad sensor.
