Well the road grader has passed us up for the second day in a row here in Lincoln Nebraska. They are saying this is the storm of the decade. Heck I have not seen snow like this since the early 80's. Sure wish I had my good sleds here, but at least I have the kids ole 440!
Took it out yesterday for a road ride and drifts are 3-5' tall all the way. Good ole 440 runs like a champ, but you sure do miss those big lug tracks. I cant believe we used to consider these bad azz sleds
Anyway heres a pic out the window today after got all the snow cleared out of drive. Check out the 440...only problem is the hood keeps flying off on the big jumps, Guess its time for the over the hood bungee strap and a fresh set of Carharts so I can look like the bad azz ditch bangers.
***EDIT, btw...thanks to the Snowest connection for the purchase of that 440 several years back. It came from Denver and seller said there family had bought it new. I am sure he would be proud to still see it in action!
