Jethro Question
Jethro,
I think I watched all 963 of your videos when deciding what kit to get. It looks like you know how to have fun, some good skills too. So I figure your the best guy to ask some questions since you're a fan of both kits like I am.
I chose the 2moto figuring it would be the most fun throughout the entire season, first snow to last. I love the 2moto, I forget it doesn't have wheels sometimes because it's so bike-like. Even after spending time on and always riding with Timbersleds, I don't regret the purchase.
I'm in the U.P. of Michigan which has some legitimate deep snow and big hills(mini-mountains). I completely hooked on snowbiking and want to keep the 2Moto for the nimbleness in regular snow and get a Timbersled for certain rides when it is definetly needed and hopefully some trips out west.
I've ridden the ST plenty but have not been on an SX. From your review and others it seems the SX will still do plenty of deep snow and be more nimble than the ST or LT. So my question, when riding in 2Moto ideal snow conditions, is the 2Moto still much more bike feeling than even the SX? If so, I'll be looking to add the SX. It would be cheaper to find a used ST though so I want to choose wisely.
On a separate topic, I really think 2Moto should market themselves in the Midwest, as opposed to the zero marketing they do now. I think they are missing an opportunity to continue to sell the product in an area where it may be the most fun kit. I understand why the Timbersled is the clear choice for mountain guys but I've already seen a few people around MI be disapointed with the Timbersled because they don't have the ideal snow to ride them in. I guess I care because I don't want to see them go away and leave me with a kit I can't get new parts for, and I really like the product.
As far as the Yeti goes, I'm pretending it does'nt exist!
