250F or 350 Sno-Bike?

Getting ready to purchase a new Moto-Cross bike. I currently have a Crf250r. Really interested in the 2015 Husky FC350. If I cant get the deal I want on that I'm going to snag a left over 13 or 14 Crf's 250's. I'm a smaller guy and have rode a handful of 450's and for me they just don't make a good MX bike, just too big I'm much faster on a 250/350.
So can a 250 or a 350 propel a sno-bike like it should? I rode a KTM 250sx with a ST kit on it this winter and feel in love. I just cant justify buying another bike plus the cost of the kit. So basically I'm really hoping for the 350 and just seeing what people think.

My riding buddy rides a KTM 350 XCW and you wouldn't know it was just a 350. He goes everywhere the 450's go and just as fast. He's a good rider and probably weighs 180-ish. I don't know about a 250, but I know that a 350 can work great.

10-12 inch snow in shot
This winter is very cold -22 c -30 c in average
