250/ 2s who's running them, is it working out?

I am currently working on a couple builds for folks. The FWD Motion / Eric Gorr 295 kit in the 250 is wicked strong. 55 to 57 HP. With the details that go along with It, It will be awesome. With a bike that barely weighs 200lbs and 55hp. Don't take short cuts or skimp on the details.

Any dyno graphs of 55 to 57hp. Yes EG/ forward motion does great work and yes I do have a KX 250 2 stroker but they have 42hp give or take stock. Is that a race port on race gas? The ktm 300 2 stroker makes 52 hp for reference. The 250sx makes 50 hp

The KX 125 does not even weigh less than 200lbs so the 250 is not barley 200lbs. More like 215lbs.

You've done some research! Your #'s are right on. It is pretty crazy the little SX250 makes 50HP as a stock 250. That's pretty impressive.

The EG engine is a basic port job he has perfected for the 300. Nothing crazy. He widens the exhaust ports, modifies the exhaust valve and slightly opens up everything else. Slight squish reduction on the head. Can do either a pump gas version or race gas version. I personally do not like too much compression. Too much won't allow it to rev out freely. A little less helps the over-rev. Yes, his work is amazing. OEM's even consult him for advise. His articles are fun to read and study.
