24’ 9R Piston Scoring

Sled is running great put peeked in the exhaust ports and saw this on the mag piston. Rings appear to be fine. I’m worried about something catastrophic happening too far from the truck. How much is too much?

Have a dealer test compression and look at your concerns. That's not good.

i think i would be pulling the exhaust valve and having a look. that looks ugly.

I just had my 23 9r pistons replaced under warranty (clutch bolt trick / crank). With 1000 miles they looked perfect.

I kept them if you want them. Was gonna toss them actually.

Well I did just that, lol… it’s under warranty. Theyre co concerned enough to tare it apart.
