Ya, right now I am SEARCHING for ANY HARD DETAILS on the new GROUP RIDE feature.

On the connected riding experience, the Group Ride capability, available in North America, takes a step further in its development. It is now added to the built-in GPS on snowmobiles equipped with the 10.25-inch touchscreen display and can be used with or without a phone or network connection to see other riders in your group. In addition to the intuitive Group Ride function, riders can see topographic maps and snowmobile trails,* view their position with compass orientation, record the current trip, show or hide previous rides and experience enhanced Vibe system communications.
The new system will also show last-known location if a machine is turned off or out of range.
Those choosing to connect with the BRP GO! application can access a richer experience with constant improvements being added.
The 10.25-inch display is available across Ski-Doo's most popular segments and models so everyone can enjoy 2026 enhancements.

No increase in displacement or HP? Well that’s disappointing after all the rumors.
It has to be a software update for group ride, right? Or a free module to those who bought the last one?

Definitely coming from the standpoint of a gen 5 owner that won't be upgrading any time soon standpoint with that wish lol
I like what I saw.
I see no negatives in the 2026 Summits.
So far as I can tell right now, all of the upgrades are positive.
Will the current removable snowflap still work with the 2026 changes?
I would guess YES as they are offering what appears to be the same snowflap as an option when ordering the 26s.
I understand they need to spread the love but the expert not getting the coil skid is a big miss imo.
If anyone can appreciate the new skid, wouldn't it be the expert customer? I would find it difficult to pull the trigger on a '26 without it.
The twin link steering is compelling, though. Polaris has a big gap on Doo in that department and anything Doo can do to narrow the gap is going to help a lot in the tech stuff

Not sure about reducing the cooling on a machine that already has cooling issues. We still have to ride the trails to get to the spots.
