Hi all, new to the forum, and needing some help!
This fall I picked up a leftover 2024 adrenaline w/ edge package 154 shot.
All was well for about 4 rides.
Then the machine up and died on me while riding the trail into a local zone with only 226km on the sled.
I brought it to my local skidoo dealer and they diagnosed it as a failed driver in the ecm, and that caused injector failure along with it "Apprently".
So the sled had a month long sleepover, while they waited on parts. They told me they looked it over and couldn't find any other issues.. eventually I got the machine back after having the work done under warranty and was excited to ride! Although I noticed they hadn't even put the belt back on it when I went and picked it up (I had taken it off to tow it out when it died a month prior). I thought to myself this seemed strange as I would of expected them to test the fix in some way or another with at least a bit of load on the machine, not just a "ya it's running now its fixed".
Anyway, I took the machine out for a test ride. Just a mellow logging road ride 9km out and 9km back. Seemed like it was all good. Ran fine. No hiccups.
I got home and the sled sat on my truck overnight. It was chilly out but nothing crazy, maybe -10C°. The next day I went to start it up and unload it and it would barely stay running. I'd throttle it up a little just to keep it alive and it would backfire violently. sounded like it was running on one cylinder maybe. I finally got it warm and off the truck but still running aweful. I slowly road it up the street getting the rpms up until it seemed to stop stumbling and seemed to be back running fine. I thought it was really weird but I couldn't get it to replicate the issue after I got it warm. I tried again the next day and the sled fired up and idled fine. Sounded like normal. I haven't been able to get out riding since then but tonight went to load up for the morning and it's falling on it's face again. Will barely stay running even once it got up to temp and sounds like it's on one cylinder and Big backfires if I give it gas enough to keep it running. It has no codes or CEL I'm at a loss.
It's now been 8 weeks since I got a real ride in and the fomo has set in hard.
HELP PLEASE!!
