2024 Pro RMK Slash

I think I’m going to Snowcheck a 850 Pro Slash 155 in the blue with black tunnel, 7S & call it a day.

I think I’m going to Snowcheck a 850 Pro Slash 155 in the blue with black tunnel, 7S & call it a day.
That's what my wife just ordered - 850 NA Pro Slash, blue, black tunnel, blue rails, 7s , E start, blue front and rear bumpers, 155 x 2.75 track, low windshield, low bars. Waiting for dealer confirmation that he can get it as part of his allocation. He's already sold out of his allotment of boosts. Even though it appears you can configure anything you want in the 850, evidently they are all already pre-configured so if a dealer runs out of whatever color choice you want in his allocation he will have to do some horse trading with other dealers to get you your sled. Or you will have to take what he's got available.

So that's not what I was told. Polaris told them total sled allocation but they are not forcing them into configurations like they did last year. Less Boosts than last year but more 9Rs is what my dealer told me yesterday while I was in putting down my deposit.

I submitted my wife's order to the dealer last night and the dealer tried to submit it to Polaris a few minutes ago. It literally was the first 850 NA he has tried to submit. He can't get it. He found out he was only allocated black ones. No blue, no red, just black. On the 9R's and Boosts you can actually choose your colors but the on the 850 NA's you cannot. He's not even sure at this point if Polaris is going to build ANY 850 NA's in any other color than black. Even though you can configure an 850 NA how you like it on the website the dealer can't actually order it.

So damn irritating if true. I do not mind black but snowcheck is all about how the customer wants it. Guess that is not the case if you want a 850 N/A. I dont need a Boost & I dont trust the 9R.

Missing out on a blown P22? No thanks. Going to SLP Twin Pipe the 850 NA.
Stock power with a bog, have fun! ? I have 1,500 trouble free P22 miles. There isn't anything wrong with that clutch. If they are balanced, aligned, and weighted correctly it works and lasts just fine. You read to much internet BS. The problem is these dealers mechanics only know how to work on Jet Skis and Motorcycles. If the dealerships had half a clue on how to set up a snowmobile guys like you wouldn't believe everything they read on the internet. But then it might put our favorite aftermarket clutching guys out of business ?

Chadly, did you send your clutches out to get balanced? If so who did ya use? Haven't had any problems with the clutching on my 9R, but if it makes them run even better why not?

The P22 isn’t as good or reliable as a P85. I don’t doubt you’ve had good luck with the P22 they certainly don’t have a 100% failure rate.
You should try a properly set up TRS clutching on your boost I had two different professional riders comment on how good my boost felt. I didn’t tell them anything about the sled setup before the rode. One of the riders was on a ski Doo turbo and before he rode my Polaris he commented that he liked the top end power of the Polaris turbo but didn’t like how “doggy” they were on the bottom end after he rode it he said yeah Polaris fixed that this year. He thought he was riding a 2023 new boost but it was a 2022 with TRS P85 setup.
The second pro rider was on a Polaris boost and after he rode it he commented the back shift is amazing then I told him the set up I have.
Turned into a long post but there is a difference.
I do agree with you that riding skill is more important than any clutching you can do. In my opinion the best money you can spend is taking a clinic get in shape and lose weight but why not do all that and have top level clutching too?

Well in my ignorance I claimed that all didn't need to be done but low and behold I found out my dealer did balance and aligned them before they sent me my sled. Probably why I haven't had any issues ??‍♂️

Hey Chadley let’s go for a ride next year I’ll bring my TRS setup boost and if you don’t agree the clutching is noticeably better then stock I’ll buy dinner afterwards. I’m fairly close to you and watching the youtube videos of you guys I think I can keep up reasonably well.

Where you located? Why don't we ride this year? I'm far from hanging it up this season.

I sold my boost 155 and snowchecked a boost 165 so I’m without boost. I do still have sleds but I get pretty busy this time of year and can’t get away a lot but DM me next time you go out and where and I’ll see if I can make it work. I’m located on the other side of the mountains in eastern Washington probably around two hours from snoqualamie.
