If the OP was so experienced and knowledgeable on the sleds he has ridden than why ask the question at all? I don’t know that person anymore than I know you.

You spend enough time on these forums and you see newbies buy sleds they want to mod them cause that’s what they read on here. As far as I am concerned he gave him the best advice for not knowing the guy or his history of riding.

6 months of sledding/plowing/winter gets exhausting. When it is done I am done. I turn to fast cars/trucks, jet skis, dirt bikes, and sittin on the beach every night after work. So I forget ****. Like the T-Mo lockout stuff. No need to hate for it. This is the reason that I leave this forum for months at a time. Keyboard heroes. Put the keyboard balls down and come ride with Tater and I. Then put your tail between your legs and run off. Meathooker is a solid dude. Been business with him and had fun rides.

It is very very cheap. I was surprised that it came.

Anyone know specifically why this won’t work on a G4?

Different suspension geometry over the G4. The rear arm is longer with different mounting holes In the rail.

A r-motion rear arm works in the G4, so does a XM rear arm.
