2022 MATRYX RMK Fuel Filter Update S-22-01 and S-22-02

Waiting for this recall to be completed as well (sleds been in the shop for a new motor anyway). If the filter sock recall is completed and our pumps are still whining will they change the pump?

have had on apart several times ! did you replace the rear filter on the jet (venturi) pump? The filters in the replacement from Polaris are same size but are larger micron media. As damx said, there is no need to take the tank off, all in all this takes less than 20 min to do the filter change operation and machine is back to running condition if you do not have a damaged electric pump and time running on the snow next season will answer that issue/question!!

Yes I replaced that filter as well along with the seal TRS is talking about to check and make sure doesn't leak. Yes, you don't need to remove the tank completely but I did as it was easier to remove the fuel pump system without removing/holding the shroud/plastics out of the way when pulling the fuel system out. Just what I felt comfortable with...

Anyone know a cut off date for manufacture date, or if this shows in the VIN check online (mine shows no recalls). Bought a late production 22, however did not receive any notification.

I could be mistaken but I thought they were early (or mid) production models.

Mine and my brothers (delivered end of December and January 15th) are affected.

I picked mine up on Dec 14th and never had an issue with the fuel pump, that I know of.
But mine is on the recall list, so getting it done.

With the newest recall, maybe they will just be replacing the entire fuel tank with a battery....

That battery will only weigh 247 pounds, not that bad and you will not have to buy $60 / gal oil either so you can save that weight also!!

I Picked mine up on Dec 23rd. No issues so far other than it does whine like crazy about mid day on.
