2020 alpha engine temps

Mine today with 2-3 " of fresh on top of groomed hard pack was running 135-160 that's with 2 sets of scratchers the stock set and a set mounted on the skis also have the speedwerx vents in the front of both side panels !!! I mean as far as engine temps go 160 isn't squat , I would be concerned at 190+ . Regretfully Some of us aren't able to unload in 2' of fluff !! Pretty much anywhere in our area it's a 2-5 mile ride to the high country to the fluff , I remember for years the only sleds that would have to pull over and cool or pack snow on the boards were the polaris's I rode with all types and models had I wanted this issue I would have bought one lol . I am not out of complete break in 5 hrs but this sucks if it's gonna be like this [emoji3525][emoji3525] coolant bottle is topped off , water wetter ????? Hate to have to add a rear cooler arrrrrrrg!!!!
U may have a water pump impeller problem?
Unless ur going real slow (10-15mph) or real fast (60+mph), u shouldn't see temps that high with any fresh snow.
As long as im not on ice, and cruise 20-45mph, my temps are 113-127°.

on most average the sled runs 123 to 140. seems some run hotter . put it on the clutch side up and let it run this will get the bubbles out of the system and put the coolant bottle at the top.

Will try the coolant bottle completely full but will try the on its right side trick first , was running 35-45 not hard had kids with me so wasn't pushing it hard working the throttle a ton to try and keep plenty of fuel goin to it , it was super hard underneath a very very light fluff about 24 degrees and snowing but again had two sets of scratchers running , watched an identicle set of ski scratchers on my other m8000 and they were kicking up a ton of snow but it was dusty at best!! Not sure about the impeller issue may be air bubble buddy has the twin to my sled will see what he runs side by side next weekend!!

@summ8rmk are you filling it full with the sled cold?
Yes.
Side note:
I drained almost a gallon of coolant out when I pulled the head. When i put the coolant back in, all i did was tilt the sled on the right and left sides and all the air came up to the top, all the fluid fit back into the sled.
No warming it up and or riding it to remove bubbles.
