Surprised they built a new engine but then did not go with direct injection. Too expensive?
I got to ride the Patriot 850 RMK two weeks ago in West Yellowstone.
The throttle response, the bottom end front and the mid-range pull are fantastic. This motor does feel like a big bore.
This motor has been in development and on the snow for several years.
It's got torque. I believe it's only available on Snow Check.
The electronics are all sealed. That was a great move Polaris.
Adjustable stance. 36 to 38 in. But I believe it's only available on snowcheck.
They have a new rear end mount to the running boards that should not hold snow and it's got a more natural foot placement if you ever decide you want to put your feet back there.
Mod shops didn't build this sled 10 years ago that would produce handling results like this.

Everything I didn't like about my 800HO Polaris fixed on the 850, this thing is stout!
-new engine mounting
-new Contact-less TPS with no adjustment
-more powerful regulator
-better electronics and connectors
