There are several select machine shops that are cutting the groove provided they are using your old cases, and yes the service is covered by warranty.
You're kind of at the mercy of Polaris Industries when it comes to warranty work. My 2019 went down at 2700 miles, they replaced everything but the cases. When I mentioned I hate the thought of everything being replaced but the cases I was told my cases were in spec and that's how the warranty process would proceed. They mentioned I could circumvent the warranty process and they could order a long block, that would have been roughly $5,600.00 instead of $50.00.
Brother, I pushed and my dealer pushed as hard as we could.
Polaris "Snow Specialist" customer service gave zero ****s. Can't even get him on the phone again. Been scheduled for call back half a dozen times now, and nothing. Pleading for some warranty extension or other good will.
Probs.
Hence why I feel additional complementary warranty extension would give me some peace of mind.
This option was never presented to me.
If you keep it you should add aftermarket warranty now. It is usually available before the factory warranty runs out. I did it a couple years back and it was affordible. Bumper to bumper and I did end up getting a new motor for my 2015 ProRide.
If you don't feel you have to be riding the latest and greatest, make sure you extend your warranty for $1250.00 for an additional two years. For myself this amounts to a couple more seasons of sledding (4,000 miles) for $1250.00, this is the deal of the century as far as dollars per mile goes, this positively keeps a snowmachine under my hind end. I've had some awesome rides this season, some with an entire group of turbo-sledders. On one particular big snow day we pounded our way up to a high pass, when we arrived one guy said, "Thank god for turbos or we would have never made it, my friend pointed at me sitting beside him and said, "He will argue that point". When getting warranty repair work done I don't think you're in a position to argue or fight for anything, you're just hoping they get you back on the snow in a reasonable amount of time with a quality repair. I've had pretty good luck with the system, some short blocks, some rebuilds, several top-ends, great program in my opinion for folks like myself who spend 80 days/winter on the snow.
Is this through Polaris?
I looked into this a little bit and it appeared that the extended warranty had to be added before the first year of factory warranty expired. After one year they call it promotional warranty and it doesn't seem like it can be extended.
I got this at my Polaris dealer in Canada.
Prior to my 3 or 4 year factory warranty expiring I have been getting the additional 2 year offer in the mail, I have not asked for it in any way.
M8ne locked up at 1400 miles on my 19, complete new Longblock dropped in under warranty , will be a fresh motor for fall snow 
My ‘19 went 6200 miles before bearings locked up. F warranty and I updated my engine myself with updated cases, Wossner dual ring pistons see how it goes this time around. Will also clutch it better, steeper helix, springs that should hold up better. Blah blah blah. Love this rig
Was out riding yesterday with a buddy who had picked up a new holdover 21' 850 khaos that seized up solid with only 282km's on it. Have to wait and see what the dealer finds this week.
