2018 M8000 ctec2 piston coating

Is the coating of the ctec2 piston supposed to worn out after few hundred miles, after the run-in phase of the engine?
Or should it stay unchanged up to several thousand miles? Acting as frictionreduction coating on the piston?

Have someone checked the coating?

Yes I checked mine. 60 miles. I’m not quite sure what to make of this scenario. Oh well. Onward and upward I guess!

It comes off rite away. Take your finger when your y pipes off like that...it flakes off with a light rub of your nail.
