2017 vs 2016 A-Arms

If you don't hit anything, they hold up real well :face-icon-small-ton

Heard of two bending this year. One was riding in early season and hit something big hiding under the low snow level. The other one, later in the season, hit a rock while sidehilling. Threw him over the handlebars, so of course it bent. Other than that, the 17s are holding up great!

I hit a 10" diameter tree at about 20 mph on a '17, 174 axys. stopped sled cold and flipped me clear of the sled (nice front flip and face plant!). It bent the A arm very slightly. I was pretty impressed the damage wasn't more severe.

Unless the black A-Arms are heat treated in some way or a different alloy, they should be the same as the 16's because they are the same dimensions. I have seen all of them bend. Our braces fit on both year designs too and greatly reduce the chance of bending. And if you do hit something hard the braces protect the skinniest part of the arm (where they fold) and the remaining part of the arm can still bow.

$199 CDN, and they can be reused if you upgrade and you do not need to remove the A-Arm to install. 10 minute job. We ship every where too.

I've bent two on my 17 this year. The first one was early season and hit a downed log just under the snow. Didn't think the hit was that hard because it did not throw me. 90 degree bend in left lower. Second one was a sidehilling incident a month later. Hit a deadhead under the snow and threw me off. I think the second one would have bent anything, but the first one I know I've hit stuff with my cats way harder with no damage.
