So I bought a 2017 Summit X 850 off a good friend of mine last week for $9000 CAD. It had 5500km on it but it's been thoroughly serviced every year and I know the riding he does isn't hard so I figured it was a safe purchase.
Of course, my second day riding it the engine stopped. Took it into GVP and they said the engine is done, $7200 CAD plus tax for a new engine/install.
So what should i do?
a) Replace the engine, and be into the sled for 17,000 CAD or b) sell it as is and get who knows what for it.
I am stuck here guys, any help would be greatly appreciated!
