2017 MC modifications?

how much weight is lost with complete oil delete? on my old triple it was more than just the tank, there was a block off plate from SLP where you removed the spinning gear off the crank. always liked the idea of reducing spinning resistance...
there are no passages in the bottom end that require the pump to get the lube to certain points?
was a little turned off for the price of this thing it still has cable operated mechanical pump. ability to premix turns that right around for me:face-icon-small-hap

I think gearing has a lot to do with the bottom end problems. I lowered my gearing on my 16 limited and noticed a big change on how it comes out of the gate. You can fully customize that if you're going with a belt drive.

And as far as weight remember the gap between the two sleds with 3" tracks isn't nearly as much where the Polaris uses a chain on the 3" models. And the poo guys always call bs but weight really isn't a factor when you account for how little snow the cats collect versus the Polaris. An hour in deep snow and I'm sure they weigh about the same.

You went lower on your gearing? Never heard of anyone doing that on the cat. It's pretty dam low from the factory. Everyone is going to higher gearing.

performance wise i looked at the bikeman stage 1... huge gains almost too good to be true. Any feedback on their kit?

Diamond S Ti can with the jaws single pipe is the only thing I'd recommend for most power and weight loss.

Friend of mine has a 2016 with a Speedwerx Stage II kit on it that runs really well. He bought it through Jason Nethercott (Rob Kincaid and Dave McClure's mechanic). From what I understand Jason has his own fuel mapping that is a little different from what Speedwerx provides. I wouldn't hesitate to run that setup If I was looking for a modest power increase.

agreed ^^^^^ but to each his own

Just picked up my 17 MC 153 yesterday. Mods I'm doing are:
Jawz Pipe Kit w/ PCV
KMOD steering mod
MDS Clutching
TKI Belt Drive
BM Fab Skinny Boards

Other than that it should be good enough.
